Mission Statement

The mission of the Tarkington Student Foundation is to provide resources directly to Tarkington I.S.D. students to assist them in obtaining a post-secondary education.

Goals

The Tarkington Student Foundation will achieve its mission by:

Establishing a long-term investment plan that will increase assets and provide a financial base for providing assistance
Providing post-secondary financial assistance beginning with the 2009 Tarkington High School graduates
Developing a long term outlook for distributing an equal amount of assistance for all graduating seniors trying to obtain post-secondary education
Providing the impetus for high school students, teachers, and administrators to develop a realistic and goal-oriented post-secondary education attitude
